Submitting Your Artwork: File Requirements for Best Results

To ensure the highest quality for your custom embroidery and screen printing, providing the correct type of artwork file is crucial. Using the wrong file format or resolution can negatively impact the final product.

For Embroidery:

Ideally, we prefer vector files or high-quality raster images (like PNG or JPEG) for digitizing your embroidery design.

  • Vector files, particularly in formats such as .AI (Adobe Illustrator) or .EPS, are highly recommended. These files are scalable to any size without losing quality, making them perfect for conversion into embroidery files.
  • When submitting raster images, please ensure they are high-resolution. We also advise against overly complex designs with many small details, as these can lead to excessive stitching and a less refined look in the final embroidery.

For Screen Printing:

For screen printing, you should generally aim to use either vector images or high-resolution bitmap images.

  • Vector images (created in programs like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW) are the gold standard. They are infinitely scalable, meaning they will not lose any quality or sharpness when resized, which is essential for crisp screen prints.
  • If you’re using bitmap images (such as photographs), it’s vital that they are high-resolution (at least 300 DPI). For simpler designs, converting them to grayscale can also make the screen printing process more efficient.
